Indeterminate Media Timebase |
Set the frame rate for imported still-image sequences. |
Timecode |
Specify whether Premiere Pro shows the original timecode imported clips, or assigns new timecode to them, starting at 00:00:00. |
Frame Count |
Specify whether Premiere Pro assigns a 0, or a 1 to the first frame of an imported clip, or assigns a number by timecode conversion. |
Default Media Scaling |
Specify whether you want to Scale to frame size or Fit to frame, or select None if you don’t want your media to be scaled. If you select Scale to frame size, Premiere Pro automatically scales imported assets to the project’s default frame size. |
Write XMP ID to files on import |
Select this checkbox to write ID information into XMP metadata fields. |
Write clip markers to XMP |
Specify where you want Premiere Pro to save clip marker, set this option. If you select this option, clip markers are saved with the media file. If you turn off this option, clip markers are saved in the Premiere Pro project file. |
Enable clip and XMP metadata linking |
Select this checkbox to link clip metadata to XMP metadata, so that changing one changes the other. |
Include captions on import |
Select this checkbox to detect and automatically import embedded closed caption data in an embedded closed caption file. Deselect this check box to not import embedded captions, which helps save time while importing. |
Enable proxies |
Select this checkbox to automatically switch to displaying the proxy video in the timeline after a proxy job is complete. |
Allow duplicate media during project import |
Select this checkbox to allow duplicate media while importing a project. Deselect this option if you don’t want multiple copies while importing. |
Create folder for imported projects |
Select this checkbox to create a new folder for imported projects. |
Automatically Hide Dependent Clips |
Select this checkbox to hide the source clips when dragging in a sequence from another project. |
Growing Files |
Select Automatically refresh growing files and Automatically resume playback for growing files in Source monitor based on your requirements. This preference allows you to edit using these files in your project immediately. You can also specify the time (in seconds) for Refresh growing Files Every field. |
Enable hardware accelerated decoding (requires restart). |
Select this checkbox to enable hardware decoding from AMD, NVIDIA, or Intel. This is enabled by default. |
Enable ProRes hardware accelarated encoding, if available |
Select this checkbox for faster H.264 editing using the hardware decoders in your system. |
