In Adobe Premiere Pro, copying and pasting clips within a sequence is a quick way to reuse content, test different edits, or reorganize your timeline.

Whether you're duplicating shots, reusing audio, or rearranging content, copying and pasting clips helps you quickly build and refine your edit without starting from scratch.

Do the following to copy and paste clips within your sequence:

  1. Select a clip by clicking on it. To select multiple clips, use the Shift key while selecting.

  2. Once your clips are selected, right-click one of them and select Copy from the context menu.

  3. To paste the copied clips at a specific location on the timeline, move the playhead to the desired position.

  4. Right-click at the location where you want to paste the clips and select Paste from the context menu.
