Change sequence settings

Learn how to adjust settings for an existing sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro, including frame size, timebase, audio, and more.

Premiere Pro lets you modify key settings, including frame size, timebase, pixel aspect ratio, audio format, preview codec, and color management, for an existing sequence. Adjust carefully, as changing core parameters can affect playback or quality.

  1. To change sequence settings, do one of the following:

    • Select Sequence > Sequence Settings.
    • In the Project panel, right-click a sequence and select Sequence Settings.
