Show or hide markers by color

Learn how to use the Markers panel to filter markers by color and either show or hide them in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Before you begin

Make sure you have added some markers to your clips or sequence.

  1. Open the Markers panel by selecting Window > Markers.

  2. In the Markers panel, locate the color filter checkboxes at the top.

  3. Select the checkbox next to each marker color you want to display. Deselect the checkbox for colors you want to hide.

    Markers panel will display markers depending on the colors you have selected in the Markers panel.

    Note:

    If no color checkboxes are selected, all markers will be displayed.

The timeline, Markers panel, Effect Controls panel, Program Monitor, and Source Monitor, will update to show only markers of your selected colors.
